Welcome

Cerimon House is a Sanctuary for the Humanities, and a place to be restored.
Our innovative programming is a balance of Community (citizens), Curiosity (education), Creativity (culture) & Ceremony (celebration). Our nonprofit organization is named for a Shakespeare character who is beloved for her altruism.
Modeling our work on the Circuit Chautauqua, we’ve assembled a consortium of artisans, teachers & philosophers, and with your help we’ll construct a harbor for their work and yours.
Our collaborators include Ainsworth House & Gardens, Oh Planning + Design, the Alberta Little Church, and Upon These Boards.
We have recently acquired the Alberta Lodge (built in 1924) and work to restore this home in the heart of Portland, Oregon. We invite you to donate, to help us move toward opening this community treasure.
Visit Recent Events to learn more about our offerings, and Upcoming Events to attend our next gatherings in 2013.
