A Sanctuary for the Humanities.
A place to gather for evenings of great thought. Creativity, Curiosity, Community & Ceremony.

Founded in 2009 by Randall Stuart, along with with an ensemble of creative thinkers, our programming and events bring delight and knowledge to the assembled guests.

Inspired by historic properties here in Portland, Oregon, we see ourselves in a restored church or civic building – one with character and spirit.

We stand at the threshold of a capital campaign, and welcome you to join us in the effort. It is the creative spark in you that will bring light to this House.

We thank you for contributing a sum towards both our innovative programming and the acquisition of a campus.

* the ‘park blocks’ in the cultural corridor of downtown Portland
