about their Favorite Poem

Performed at Stonehenge Studios, the studio of designer & photographer Jacquie Jones. This Cerimon House Salon was conceived and directed by Gemma Whelan, and will be revived in July, 2012.

What happens when secondary school students write to famous people, asking them what their favorite poem is and why – and then publish and raise funds for famine victims in developing countries? Lifelines, a remarkable collection of poetry. Cerimon House assembled an ensemble of nine artists to give voice to the idea.

The ensemble included Ted Roisum, Mary McDonald-Lewis, Victor Mack, Gilberto Martin del Campo, Lynne Foster, Gemma Whelan, Sharon McDonald – and featured vocalist Colleen Raney and harpist Kerryann Foley.
