Kevin Yell

Kevin Yell serves on the Cerimon House Board [2010-2013], bringing both a degree in Business Management from Lancaster University (UK), and an MA in Spirituality and the Arts from Berkeley’s Graduate Theological Union. Ordained with the American Catholic Church, he is also the co-owner and manager of Ainsworth House & Gardens in Oregon City since 2005, a center for ceremonies, retreats, community gatherings and the arts.

Dedicated to the role of creativity (in the broadest sense) in healing our world, Kevin is a teacher, preacher, hospice chaplain, retreat giver, as well as a spiritual and theatrical director.  He is based full time at The Ainsworth House, and is pleased that he can share the wisdom that has come from running that venue to support a ”sister” organization like Cerimon House, so that both venues can successfully provide a diversity of people-centered opportunities to celebrate, educate, communicate and re-create. In his native England, Kevin was a high school teacher and non-profit manager, while also being a lecturer in spirituality and the arts at workshops and seminaries.  He came to America in 1991 and now sits of four other Boards: Clackamas County Arts Alliance, Namaste’, New Century Players, and the formation board of the American Catholic Church.  Learn more at www.AinsworthHouse.net
