Kevin Yell

Kevin Yell served on the Board of Directors of Cerimon House for 7 years, and only recently retired as its Board Chair, while still remaining quite involved in advisory and creative ways for the foreseeable future. For which we are humbly grateful. He is the co-owner and Managing Partner of Ainsworth House & Gardens, since 2005 one of Portland’s premier venues for private and community-focused events. He is based full-time at Ainsworth House, and is pleased that he can share the wisdom that has come from running that venue to support a “sister” organization like Cerimon House, so that both venues can successfully provide a diversity of people-centered opportunities to celebrate, educate, communicate and re-create.

With a special interest in the role of “The Right Brian Initiative” for human and economic development, Kevin brings a lifetime of management and business skill - as well as commitment to the arts and community development - to the work of Cerimon House. Originally from England, he has worked with international orchestras and overseas community development on both the business and creative sides. He has also served on several local boards here in Multnomah and Clackamas counties, including: Clackamas County Arts Alliance, New Century Players, and Namaste. Kevin is dedicated to the role creativity plays in healing our world, and is a teacher, hospice chaplain, retreat giver, as well as a spiritual and theatrical director.
