THE 2017 CERIMON HOUSE ARTIST RESIDENCY PROGRAM PRESENTS A PLAY READING OF:

by Jennifer Le Blanc

Monday, March 13th & 14th, 2017

A large-scale staged reading of this newly commissioned play: an adaptation of Shakespeare's late-career romance The Winter's Tale, focusing on the female story-lines of the characters Paulina, Hermione, and Emelia.

With mystery and majesty, the darker corners of the famous story are illuminated, as the audience is asked to join the characters on a journey through several realms. Ultimately, the remarkable "statue room" is reached - and there lies faith and forgiveness, and the reunification of a family.

We were thrilled to welcome playwright Jennifer Le Blanc back to Cerimon House after her past collaborations: PersuasionThe One You Feed, and Incidents in the Wicked Life of Moll Flanders.

WINTER'S PASSAGE is directed by Randall Stuart, and features a cast of wonderful actors to give voice to this new script, including: Cecily Overman, Diane Kondrat, Dawn Lisell, Melissa Mangaña, Eden Neuendorf, Sarah McGregor, Paige McKinney, Sascha Blocker, Theresa Park, Todd Van Voris* Joe Gibson*, Gregg Le Blanc & Matthew Sa.
