This, dear friends, is the best of the immensely popular “Today I Am…” daily feed on Facebook, where classic artworks get mashed-up with bold new stories. An annual offering at Cerimon House, the six themed exhibits are displayed in a treasure hunt of the virtual art world – with creator & curator Bob Hicks as host & speaker. The event is a benefit for Cerimon House.
Cerimon House has established a place where the community convenes to experience the evolving human story…and what better way than to become the pop-up museum for the work of the “Today I Am…” community. Bob’s fans (and we are legion) assemble, and take-in the dazzling “art & word” exhibits…rubbing shoulders, as well as minds.
This "Toady Jam" event (as the regulars fondly call it) is interactive, giving people who often chat in the virtual world the opportunity to meet in person. Bob will select a handful of visual masterpieces, and who knows? People might even have a crack at creating their own "Today I Am..." story.
As if this event couldn't get any better, Pomegranate Communications, Inc. will have a table of their beautiful, popular merchandise, including Bob's latest - a book fresh off the press with his essay that accompanies the gorgeous works of Japanese printmaker Kazuyuki Ohtsu.
