HANDS UP
7 Playwrights, 7 Testaments

April 14, 15, & 16 at 7:00 P.M. at Cerimon House

A powerful set of monologues commissioned by The New Black Fest in the wake of police shootings of Mike Brown in Ferguson, MO,  John Crawford III in Beavercreek, OH, and others. 

Seven black playwrights have been commissioned to write monologues that explore their feelings about the well-being of black people in a culture of institutional profiling. By playwrights Nathan James, Nathan Yungerberg, Idris Goodwin, Nambi Kelley, Glenn "NSangou" Gordon, Eric Holmes, and Dennis Allen II. 

Donations for these performances will be accepted at the door.
