A Story In Their Eyes:
The Power of Portraiture
A Cerimon House commission of Portland painter & graphic artist Jeremy Boldt, whom we met on the street selling his beautiful art. We engaged Jeremy to create 18 portraits to grace the stage of our benefit performance about gun safety: The S.O.S. Concert.
These provocative illustrations captured the essence of nine particular American presidents (and their unkindly foils) as brought to life in the songs from the award-winning Sondheim musical Assassins. In the wake of the Tucson tragedy of January 2011, this Cerimon House concert brought focus to practical safety issues in society.
We thank Jeremy for his trust in us, and for his terrific work. We are so glad we stopped on the street and asked about his art. The 18 portraits are digitally mastered, and can be obtained in a printed Collectors Set of 6×8″ stock cards for $20 [inc. shipping & handling]. Order yours at Cerimon House
